  • The Opportunity
    We are partnering with a national law firm to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner / Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their People & Culture team on a temporary contract.
    Working closely with leaders across the business, this role will lead end-to-end recruitment activity for both early careers and experienced hires. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced professional services environment and can quickly build credibility with stakeholders.

    This role is based in Brisbane and offers the opportunity to work alongside an established People & Culture team within a well-regarded national firm. It will be around 5 weeks, including a handover and hand-back period.


    About the Role
    As a key member of the People & Culture team, you will:
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment across legal and business services roles
    • Partner with leaders to understand workforce needs and recruitment strategies
    • Source, attract and engage legal talent across a competitive market
    • Manage advertising, screening, interviewing and offer management processes
    • Support onboarding and employee lifecycle activities
    • Assist with workforce planning and talent initiatives
    • Maintain recruitment and HR systems, reporting and documentation.
    About You
    To be successful in this role, you will bring:
    • Previous experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Advisor or Talent Acquisition role
    • Demonstrated legal recruitment experience is essential
    • Experience recruiting lawyers and/or professional services employees within a law firm environment.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
    • Confident communication and influencing skills
    • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
