    About the Role:

    Reporting to the Director People & Culture, this Human Resources Business Partner (Org Change) contract will play a pivotal role during a period of organisational change and workforce restructuring activity.

    Partnering closely with senior leaders and executives, you will provide practical and commercially focused HR advice while supporting a broad range of organisational design, consultation, workforce planning, and employee relations initiatives. This is a highly visible role requiring a confident and credible HR professional who can quickly build trusted relationships and guide stakeholders through complex people related matters.

    Key responsibilities will include supporting organisational redesign activities, managing consultation processes, providing advice on employment legislation and employee relations matters, drafting change and consultation documentation, preparing organisational communications, supporting workforce planning initiatives, mitigating people related risk, coaching leaders through change, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of key business outcomes.

    This role will suit an experienced HR practitioner who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands on delivery and is comfortable operating within a lean, fast paced, and evolving environment.

    About You:

    You are an experienced HR Business Partner, or Senior HR Business Partner, with a proven track record supporting complex organisations through periods of change, growth, and transformation. You are recognised for your ability to build credibility quickly, influence senior stakeholders, and provide balanced advice that considers legal, commercial, and cultural outcomes.

    To be successful, you will bring:
    • Demonstrated experience as a Senior HR Business Partner within highly-qualified corporate, professional services, top-tier consulting, financial services, regulated, or similarly complex environments.
    • Strong delivery and operational hands-on experience supporting organisational restructures, workforce change programs, organisational design initiatives, and formal consultation processes, from both large and small-medium-sized businesses. 
    • Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, employee relations frameworks, awards interpretation, and organisational change obligations.
    • Experience preparing consultation documentation, workforce communications, contract variation letters, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive coaching capability.
    • Strong commercial judgement combined with a pragmatic and solutions focused approach.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex HR matters into practical business language.
    • A hands on and adaptable style with the ability to operate autonomously and also collaboratively in a close-knit HR team.
    • Immediate availability or the ability to commence within a short notice period. 
    Additional Requirements/Benefits:
    • Sydney CBD location. Predominantly office based role with flexibility considered where business requirements allow.
